Today I want to talk about the other side of energy (not the renewables!) As much as we are fighting for a renewable future utilising the sun, wind and ocean… fossil fuels are still here and still polluting our planet! And it’s not just fossil fuels, for example manufacturing cement and waste-to-energy plants all produce large amounts of CO₂. 

The renewable energy industry is providing hope for a cleaner, healthier, and more equitable world. And I truly believe that the more women are involved in shaping that future, the brighter it will be. This industry has to continue to embrace the strength of women! This is the energy I want to bring to our workplace. It's like the entire industry is saying, "The future is green, and the future is definitely female!"
