When a UK-based developer of large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sought to expand its operations, they needed a highly skilled technical team to deliver multiple projects across the country.
We partnered with them to recruit a Technical Director to lead design, engineering, and project delivery, and to define the structure of the wider technical team. Key roles included Design Engineers, a GIS Specialist, and Grid Managers, ensuring the team had expertise in system design, site assessment, grid connection, and operational integration.
Once the core team was in place, we supported the recruitment of additional technical specialists to deliver construction-ready designs and manage ongoing project operations, enabling the company to accelerate its BESS deployment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Today, the UK technical team is fully operational, delivering high-performance energy storage projects and supporting the company’s pipeline of greenfield development.
