Today I want to talk about the other side of energy (not the renewables!) As much as we are fighting for a renewable future utilising the sun, wind and ocean… fossil fuels are still here and still polluting our planet! And it’s not just fossil fuels, for example manufacturing cement and waste-to-energy plants all produce large amounts of CO₂. 

As you know, I’m deeply passionate about technology that helps the environment, even more so when it has added benefits for us. And lately, I’ve been positively charged up by some incredible advancements happening in solar cell technology! It feels like just yesterday we were talking about silicon's limitations. But hold on to your hats, because the future of solar is looking brighter than ever, thanks to exciting developments in perovskite and tandem solar cells.
